Get creative with your Yerba Mate!

We're awakening your creative spirit with some very simple but delicious Yerba mate recipes!


1. The easiest option is to prepare a YERBA MATE LATTE:

-You'll need milk; water; loose-leaf Yerba mate and the most important,
any kind of sweetener (honey, sugar etc.)
-First, you brew the Yerba leaves in 3/4 cup of water, then you add 1/4 cup of warmed milk and the sweetener goes at the end.
There you'll have a delicious infusion right at your table!

2. Another option we suggest is an ICED YERBA MATE TEA:

-The trick here is to add hot water (not boiling) before you put the ice and let it sit about 10 minutes because the hot water will strength the flavor, opposite from the ice effect.
-For the ingredients, you'll need: water (4cups); loose-leaf Yerba mate ( 4tbsp); sweetener (4tbsp); and of course the ICE.

*Extra tips: You can add herbal blends such as mint, spearmint, rosemary or a special plant named Guayusa that provides an extra fruity and citrusy flavor.

3.Make your Yerba a YERBA MATE ESPRESSO:

-Use your espresso machine to make a Yerba espresso, just by putting two tablespoons of Yerba mate in a cup with cool water, then mix them well and then place this mixture in your espresso machine.

4. We suggest you something even more cooler a YERBA MATE SMOOTHIE:

-You can make a sweet mixture from any kind of fruit (strawberries, bananas, raspberries etc.), with two cups of yogurt and your Yerba mixed up together. Just blend them well and enjoy!

 5. Use the FRENCH PRESS METHOD:
- Put 4 tbsp of Yerba leaves than wet them with cold water, and then pour hot water. Let the tea to steep for 5 minutes and then press.
